Myrurgia is a perfumery company founded in Barcelona in 1916, on the basis of a family business, by Esteve Monegal y Prat. It achieved a very important presence not only in Spain, but also in the international market, with products - colognes, soaps, perfumes - that played with the charisma of orientalism (MADERAS DE ORIENTE), Hispanic exoticism ("Maja") or even clear hedonistic evocations ("Orgy"). Great attention has always been paid to communication and packaging, as is evident in this gorgeous square bottle of LAVANDA DE MYRURGIA (1916). Lavanda was launched in 1916. The line included cologne, soap and brillantine and was very popular in Spain. |
