L'AMO AUBOCASSA Extra Virgin Olive Oil 500 ml
The new olive oils L’AMO AUBOCASSA comes out on the market, made in the new oil press of state of the art technology, unique in Spain, located in the AUBOCASSA estate in Manacor. This olive oil pays homage to the figure of the l’amo in Majorca, the person who, although not the owner, would cultivate the fields and lived in very close connection to the land whilst also being able to enjoy a large proportion of what was produced. The olive oil L’AMO is part of a new stage in AUBOCASSA, which is linked to its new oil press, and represents a turning point in the production of oil throughout Spain that preserves all the more subtle details of the olives.
L’AMO is a special olive oil, made with the varieties Arbequina and Picual and from olives grown in other groves in the area. It is complex, intense with the character and breed of the countryside of the Mallorcan Pla, an olive oil with a different personality but complemented with the subtle, delicate, ethereal and fine profile of its older brother: AUBOCASSA.
L’AMO is green with hints of yellow, slightly opalescent aspect. In nose it appears very intense and fresh aromas, peppermint and mint clear the nose giving a very fresh feeling. Within the glass appears the tomato, tomato plant, olive tree leaf and chlorophyll; finally mastic and bushes from ‘la pleta’, peach, green pistachio, lemon tree leaf, salty breeze and fresh earth. In mouth has a fluid and fresh texture and it appears the green almond, green grass, mint and pistachio with a medium peppery note. It is embracing and elegant with the character and breed of the countryside of the Mallorcan Pla and is under the Oli de Mallorca designation of origin.
