Caserío de Tafalla was founded in the 1940s by the local couple Jesús Ramírez and Manuela Barásoain. The essence of our signature candies captures the history of both a family and an entire land. Every Christmas, delicious pine nut nougats were made in their kitchen, and the leftovers were used to make El Caserío de Tafalla’s first pine nut candy.
