Taste the oldest chocolates of Spain, from the Amatller family business, started in 1797. Inside the turn-of-the-century modernist tins and collector’s boxes are cocoa dusted white chocolate roasted almonds, cinnamon ground hot cocoa and dark chocolate truffles made with Marc de Cava sparkling Spanish wine.
The high quality bars and confectionery are packaged in reproductions of beautifully illustrated wrappers and boxes originally used by Chocolate Amatller in the late 19th century.
The Amatller family were great patrons of the arts and the original art, from which the packaging has been developed, is still on show at Casa Amatller in Barcelona. Since 1972, the Amatller brand has been integrated with Chocolates Simón Coll, which has allowed Amatller to retain its unique personality.
