Gorgeous tin with a mixture of candied lemon and orange peels, some covered with 70% dark chocolate and others with white chocolate, cut in the shape of the moon, that moon that, reflected in its river, saw the first shipment of cocoa in Europe enter Seville. It was the year 1510.
La Despensa de Palacio is a bakery and chocolate factory that handcrafted numerous traditional sweets, chocolates, cookies and waffles. The recipes we use take their origin in the family pastry tradition that dates back to the year 1743. The product is made with ingredients from the most select origins and is packed in boxes and cases that make a difference and are recognized as unique and exceptional in various international competitions.
In the palace oven of Ms. Luisa Centurion, Marquise of Estepa, Antonio Santaella began working in 1743, the first baker of the House family saga. Ms Luisa would not take much in making him responsable for the palace pantry. Hence the name...
