Vintage new Myrurgia MADERAS DE ORIENTE luxury perfumed soap which comes with soap dish. Made in Spain. Vintage Myrurgia woods of the Orient scented soap. Beautifully wrapped and sealed in Myrurgia's silk paper. It still smells amazing and fresh and spicy to my nose.

Created in 1918, this is a sweet floral oriental perfume with women. It starts with a fresh, spicy top, followed by a spicy floral heart, resting on a subdued, powdery floral base. 

Top notes: bergamot, lemon, neroli, coriander, marjoram. 
Middle notes: clove, rose, orris, cyclamen, jasmine, ylang ylang. 
Base notes: sandalwood, cedar, musk, benzoin, guiacwood

Maderas de Oriente, A Fascinating Spanish Fragrance from Myrurgia. One of delightful woodsy fragrance touched by the mystery of the Orient. It has floral notes of jasmine, ylang-ylang and bergamot, layered on spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, over a base of sandalwood and other precious woods.

​Myrurgia is a perfumery company founded in Barcelona in 1916, on the basis of a family business, by Esteve Monegal y Prat. It achieved a very important presence not only in Spain, but also in the international market, with products - colognes, soaps, perfumes - that played with the charisma of orientalism (MADERAS DE ORIENTE), Hispanic exoticism ("Maja") or even clear hedonistic evocations ("Orgy"). 

​Great attention has always been paid to communication and packaging, as is evident in this three gorgeous soap box of MADERAS DE ORIENTE (1918). In 2000 the company was acquired by the fashion and perfume company Puig. 

Maderas de Oriente was launched in 1918. The line included perfume extract, perfumed lotion (much like a concentrated cologne), soap and face powder.
